Turn-Based Tactics Android Games Thrive in Latin America Q1 2021

Sensor Tower's latest data reveals the performance of the top five Turn-Based Tactics games on the Android platform in Latin America during the first quarter of 2021. Here's how these strategic favorites fared among gamers.

FINAL FANTASY BE:WOTV, published by SQUARE ENIX Co.,Ltd., showed fluctuating revenue starting at $25K in late December, dipping to $4K in early February, and then peaking at $28K at the end of March. Downloads had a significant spike in the last two weeks of March, jumping from virtually none to over 1.5K. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, starting at around 1.7K and rising to 2.5K by the end of March.

The Walking Dead No Man's Land, from German publisher Deca Games, experienced a revenue dip from $4.7K to around $2K in early March before reaching nearly $3.7K by the end of the quarter. Downloads began at approximately 7K and saw a decrease to 4.2K. Active users started strong at 14K but saw a decline to 11K in the same period.

E-Do Game Studio's Bomb Heroes-Royal Shooter GO saw its revenue fluctuate, with a notable drop to $260 in late February, but it recovered to $1.4K by the end of March. The game's downloads had a sharp decline after mid-January, with a resurgence to 3.7K by the end of March. Active users decreased from 33K to 23K throughout the quarter.

DDTank Mobile, by 7road International HK Limited, showed revenue that generally trended downward, ending at $1.4K. Downloads were high at the start of the quarter, with 17.6K, but dropped to zero in February, then picked back up in March to around 6K. Active users saw a significant drop from 19K to 7.2K.

Lastly, Bowmasters from Miniclip.com had stable but modest revenue, starting at $1.4K and ending at $1.4K. Downloads were impressive, with the game starting at 156K and peaking at 208K in mid-March. Active users showed a slight decline from 909K to 954K by the end of the quarter.
